Our top 10 moments of the 2019-2020 school year for Pleasantville brings us back to the fall season, where the volleyball team made noticeable progress. After posting just 14 total wins in the previous four seasons, the Trojans put together a winning campaign for the first time since 2014.

Pleasantville started the season 2-2, but then put together an eight-game winning streak. At one point, the Trojans won 10 of 11, and were looking like one of the better teams in the area.

Pleasantville had less overall success in the second half of the season, but hovered around the .500 mark before falling in the first round of postseason play to Pella Christian.

The Trojans finished in the upper half of the West Central Conference standings with a 6-4 record, and finished 16-9 overall.
