A season high 90 sprint cars filed into the pits on Saturday at the Knoxville Raceway, and after all the dust cleared, three winners stood among everyone at the Christmas In July celebration. Aaron Reutzel, who was gearing up for the All-Stars show next week blew by Austin McCarl on a restart and checked out to take the 410 A-Main. Reutzel said in victory lane, he knows his team is getting better at the right time of the season.

Reutzel:
“We’ve hit on something and we’re pretty good on runs in the beginning of the A, but we have to get a little but better at the end, and if we can be as good in the end as we are at the beginning then we’ll be in really good shape.”

After several restarts, Carson McCarl was able to grab the checkered flag in the 360 feature race while Chris Walraven led from start to finish in the Pro Sprints division. This Saturday, the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions visits plus what could be the largest 360 field of the season on the final weekly show before the 360 Nationals.
