Today we continue the top 10 countdown of the top moments of the 2019-20 school year with number eight. The Indianola baseball team had an up-and-down season, and struggled to consistently put full games together. One example of such was a contest against Fairfield late in the season, where the Indians made several mistakes and trailed the Trojans 6-3 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, where Ethan Ellsworth came to the plate with the bases loaded to deliver the top moment with a walkoff grand slam. The Indians won the contest, and celebrated a victory on senior night where Ellsworth was one of 11 seniors honored.
