Demestri Qualifies for State XC Meet

Our No. 8 moment from 2019-20 at Eagle Lane has the lone state cross country qualifier from Pella Christian High School from this past season. In an extremely deep and talented district race, Daniel Mora Demestri placed 11th among boys and found an individual bid to the 2019 state meet. Mora Demestri says while he missed out later on a potentially busy spring as a leader on the soccer team and distance runner on the track, he’s happy with how his Eagles athletic career ended.

He finished in 73rd in the Class 2A field at the 2A boys state meet in Fort Dodge and participated in the Association of Track Coaches Senior All-Star Meet to end his running career at P.C.
