While the Knoxville Nationals will not be held as usual this year, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is still expecting a large crowd during the 360 Nationals and NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws events in August. As a result, the Chamber is seeking volunteers to help park vehicles during those events. Knoxville Chamber Director Hannah Vander Veer says this is a great opportunity to be involved and help the community during one of its biggest events.

“That is one of our largest fundraisers, and like everyone else, we’ve seen significant financial drawbacks from the pandemic. We do have opportunities available if people are looking for something to do during the 360 Nationals, The One and Only, and Capitani Classic. Shifts are two to three hours, we’ll have masks, gloves, hand sanitizer available. It’s just a nice opportunity to get outside, we’re at Young’s Park. So if anyone is interested in that, they can visit our website and sign up, or they can call us at the office and we can get some shifts assigned to them.”

Volunteers are needed August 6th-8th and August 13th-15th.
