pleasantville-3

One of the best boys basketball victories of the school year for the Pleasantville boys was a comeback victory in their home gym. The Trojans played host to Woodward Academy on January 14th, and had a sluggish start.

The Knights stormed out to a 20-14 lead after the first quarter, but Pleasantville held the score even in the second. Woodward Academy took a 33-27 lead into halftime, but it didn’t last much longer.

Pleasantville was hot out of the gate, outscoring the Knights 20-13 in the third to hold a one-point edge. The Trojans held on and rolled to a 70-59 win when it was all over.

The Trojans had a balanced effort with four players in double figures. Tagen Douma led the way with 17 points. Mason Scheve and Teron Mount each scored 15. Mitch Harken had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Pleasantville went on to finish the season 11-11 overall and said goodbye to five seniors.
