For the third straight year, the Knoxville Volleyball Squad swept through the Newton Invitational winning every match in a 2-0 fashion defeating PCM, Newton, Saydel, and Des Moines Hoover. The Mustangs went 2-2, losing to Knoxville and Newton, but coming back to defeat Saydel and Hoover to even their record on the night. Knoxville is off until Monday when the Panthers begin defense of their South Central Conference title for the third straight season against Albia, while PCM heads to West Marshall for an invitational on Saturday.
