The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The Fifth Judicial District requested the board require face coverings in all common areas of the Warren County Courthouse building, as currently face coverings are currently only required in the courtroom, not in common areas. The board gave the judicial district the authority to make the mandate in a 2-1 vote, with Supervisor Doug Shull voting against. The measure is effective through the end of 2020.
The board approved the sale of a mobile home, a modified request from the Historic Preservation Commission, approved a rezoning request from agricultural to residential 2-1 with Supervisor Crystal McIntyre voting against, approved a rezoning request from agricultural to industrial, and went into closed session to discuss confidential records. The board also approved a change order on the 911 communications project, a submission of a request for COVID-19 reimbursement, and a remodel of the zoning department.
