Marion County had a second COVID-19 death reported on the state of Iowa Coronavirus website Thursday. The death was an elderly person, over 80 years old with pre-existing health conditions, according to Marion County Public Health. There are 113 active cases of COVID-19, with 400 recoveries, after an additional 12 cases were confirmed. Five Marion County residents are hospitalized with the virus.
