Chapter number 84 of the Red Rock Rivalry is tonight and the weather conditions may prove a bit sloppy on the Ken Locke Stadium surface. Pella comes in at 0-2 on the season but have played some of the best competition any team could find in the state falling to Dallas Center-Grimes in week one and Harlan last Friday. Knoxville has split its two games losing to Fairfield in week one and defeating Keokuk last week. Knoxville Coach Eric Kellar is not worried about the weather, he knows what to expect from Pella’s talented squad.

Kellar:
“Same thing every year, they have more athletes than you can count. They’re D-Line is super quick and big, and really good. They’re quick and aggressive so we know what to expect every year we play them.”

The kickoff has been moved up to a 7:00pm kick with the freshman game being postponed to Monday. You can hear the game live on 95.3 KNIA beginning with the pregame at 6:00pm for the Knoxville perspective, or on kniakrls.com with Trevor Castle and the Pella perspective with the pregame at 6:30pm. Due to several of area games being moved up to accommodate the weather, our coverage of Football Friday Nights will start a hour earlier with the Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show at 3:30pm.
