The PCM volleyball team closed its week of action with a conference tilt at home against Nevada. It was the 7th ranked Cubs who escaped Monroe with a 3-0 sweep.

Nevada took the first set, but PCM held close in a 25-19 final. The Mustangs competed well in the following sets, but Nevada took sets 2 and 3 by scores of 25-17 and 25-17.

Jacki Vos led the way with six kills, and Chelsea Bird had eight digs. PCM falls to 6-12 overall and 1-2 in Heart of Iowa Conference play. Up next for the Mustangs is a trip to Saydel on Tuesday.
