The 10th annual Nana Jana Fun Run was held Saturday south of Knoxville. The event raised funds and awareness to support Ovarian Cancer. Organizer Dan Dennison appreciates the community support over the past 10 years, and says that this run is the least he and his family could do.

“It’s simple for us because we do it at the farm so we don’t have to coordinate too much other than getting the paths cut out. We’ve had some great sponsors over the years that help take care of the food and the different things we do. I call it a community effort, we organize it, but we have a lot of people that help. A lot of volunteers today, they just want to help.”

Following the run, visitors enjoyed a breakfast served inside Dennison’s shed. First place adult male was Jonathon Watson, while the first place adult female was Tara Gordon. David Standridge was the first place youth male runner, while Abbie Keitges was the first place youth female.
