The Pella volleyball team salvaged an uneven Saturday at the Ballard tournament, winning the consolation rounds and finishing 3-2.

No. 12 in 4A Pella had 2-0 sweeps of Ballard (21-10, 21-17) and West Marshall (21-10, 21-14), and a win over North Polk 2-1 (21-15, 18-21, 17-15). Their losses were both 2-0 and came to Grand View Christian (17-21, 17-21) and Woodward Granger (17-21, 19-21).

Pella’s record is now 11-5 and they head to Oskaloosa Tuesday for a conference match.
