While most teams are playing their fifth game of the season, Twin Cedars is on its third game, and the Sabers will have a tough road test tonight against English Valleys. The two teams have played every year since 2014 with the Bears winning the last three meetings. Sabers Coach Cam Parker tells KRLS Sports it all starts with defending English Valleys’ quarterback as he can improvise when the play breaks down.

Parker:
“English Valleys offense can be explosive at times. I noticed on video, they had some bad snaps and their quarterback picked the ball up and ran around a couple times and even found a guy for a 60 yard touchdown.”

That quarterback is Cole Stephenson, who has 510 yards passing and 151 on the ground. Twin Cedars comes in a 0-2 while English Valleys is 3-1 after a loss last week to Montezuma. Kick off is scheduled for 7:00.
