After the dust has settled on a busy week of Homecoming festivities at Pella High School, the fall sports teams are gearing up for intriguing matchups as the postseason draws closer.

Following a loaded stretch of games and road trips, the 11-7 Pella volleyball team is seeking a bounce back against the conference leaders and No. 12 in 4A Dallas Center-Grimes tonight. If the Lady Dutch want to stay near the top of the Little Hawkeye Conference standings, they’ll need to solve a Fillies team that has only dropped three sets in their four league matches thus far.

The Lady Dutch clash with DCG at 7:15, which will be live streamed at pellaschools.org/live.

Pella’s No. 2 ranked cross country boys will join the Lady Dutch in a change of race venue, as they opted to head to the Williamsburg meet instead of Knoxville today. Varsity action begins at 5:00 this evening.

The Pella swimmers on the NCMP Aquagirls return to the Newton YMCA for a varsity swimming triangular at 5:30 p.m.
