The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad will hit the road to Lamoni tonight. The Saints were held to just 16 yards of total offense in last week’s loss to Southeast Warren. Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports, Lamoni will look to run the ball first.

Ferguson:
“You watch them on game film and they like to run the ball, and they don’t have huge guys along the front line. It doesn’t matter what sports it is when you go to Lamoni, it’s always difficult to win, and they’re always well coached.”

The Saints are led by Lane VanderLinden, who has 266 yards on 78 carries, he has also passed for 221 yards. The 1-4 Saints will kick off against Lamoni tonight at seven.
