Most of south central Iowa remains in abnormally dry conditions, according to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor Report.

Additionally, moderate drought is impacting portions of Polk, Warren, Jasper, and Mahaska Counties. Light precipitation fell across much of Marion and Warren Counties Saturday as well.

Warmer temperatures and dry conditions continue this week, with daytime highs spread throughout the 70s and sunny and clear conditions expected over the next several days.
