The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad lost for just the second time this season as the Saints were swept by class 1A #9 Southeast Warren in three sets 25-13, 25-17, and 25-16. The Warhawks generally held the upper hand most of the match with Melcher-Dallas taking a brief lead in set one and set three. Saints Coach Jesyka Nolte noted that her team came out flat and just was not their usual self.

Nolte:
“I just felt like my girls played a little flat and a little scared. Even when we were ahead a few points or right with them, they weren’t up cheering and being up and staying up like they normally would. I don’t know, maybe a little intimidation.”

Kacey Enfield and Kenzie Smith had six kills each while Emma Heaberlin was 10/10 serving. Melcher-Dallas is now 13-2 and will head to the Wayne Invitational on Saturday.
