Pella got back on the winning track while the Eagles gave up a 2-0 set advantage when the teams hit the road for conference volleyball action Tuesday.

The Lady Dutch swept Grinnell (25-17, 25-15, 25-20), while Pella Christian dropped a road match to Oskaloosa 3-2 (25-22, 25-21, 14-25, 17-25, 13-15).

The Eagles jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but faltered down the stretch against the Indians. Avey Amelse tallied 17 kills and Sarah Gritters had 15, while Trinity Vos tallied 10 total blocks (8 assisted) and Larissa Pleima served up six aces.

Pella Christian falls to 13-11, 2-4 in the conference, and they head to Pella High School next Tuesday.

Pella is now 14-10, 4-2 in the Little Hawkeye, and back in action Saturday morning at their home tournament.
