The Knoxville Football Squad has made it to the regular season finale tonight and the Panthers have a tough task to get their second win of the season. Knoxville travels to Carlisle to battle the vaunted triple option offense that has racked up nearly 450 yards per game this season. Panthers Coach Eric Kellar tells KRLS Sports what makes Carlisle so tough to defend is not just the Wildcats ability to run the ball but their propensity to throw the ball downfield and keep defenses off balance.

Kellar:
“That’s they key, will the kids be disciplined enough. They don’t just run the triple, they run power and play action, and we’ll have to be disciplined for sure.”

Kellar says winning the turnover battle is critical as Carlisle is 0-3 when losing the turnover battle and 3-0 when winning that category. Listen live on 95.3 KNIA beginning with the pregame at 6:30pm.
