The Knoxville Volleyball Squad made quick work of Mount Pleasant on Thursday night winning 3-0 25-13, 25-11, and 25-20. The Panthers dominated the first two sets leading nearly the entire way. Set three was a little closer as Knoxville took a bit longer to close out the set. Coach Mollie Keitges told KRLS Sports this was a total team effort, and that is what she thinks will carry the girls through the postseason.

Keitges:
“Everybody has a job on the volleyball court and if everybody goes in and does their job, we’re going to be successful, and I think that’s what they did really well tonight, and we got everybody in there and did really well.”

Brittany Bacorn led the Panthers with 13 kills and had 12 digs on the night, Marley McKay went 15/16 serving with an ace, Emma Dunkin was 12/12 and three aces, Alyssa Vaske went 9/9 and four aces, while Reilly Finarty was perfect in 15 serve attempts. Maggie Wilkins came up with 39 digs on the night. Knoxville is now 18-3 on the season and will travel to Pella for an invitational meet on Saturday.
