A Private Family Mass of Christian Burial for Raymond “Cork” Lahart, age 82, will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Georgetown. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Georgetown with military rites conducted by the American Legion of Albia, Lovilia, and Melrose. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020, opening to the public at 2:00 p.m., and the family will be present from 5-7 p.m., at the Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia. There will be a Christian Wake Service held at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home Monday evening. Proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending. Masks are recommended to attend the visitation, and required for services. Memorials may be directed to the Welcome Home Soldier Monument. Sinnott Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
