Warren County Emergency Management, Warren County Health Services, and local school districts have all worked together to make schools as safe as possible this year, and helped to form a Return to Learn plan for each district. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News one of the ways the schools are working towards keeping things as normal as possible is working in groups.
“One of the ways the schools are dealing with the pandemic is working in pods with students and teachers, where if a child or a teacher has been exposed or has symptoms and exposed others, it is just a select few rather than the whole school. So that way the school can stay open and programs can stay open and they can all get an education.”
