The Pella School Board met with local legislators as part of a work session this week. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says each year, the board aims to meet with state senators and representatives covering the borders of the Pella Community School District to discuss important topics relating to education. On Monday, Representative Dustin Hite and State Senators Amy Sinclair and Ken Rozenboom, as well as his challenger Lance Roorda, spent just over an hour sharing their views on various challenges faced by public schools and how they would address those.
