The Pella City Council will consider the next step of annexing land for the new Lely North America Headquarters at their meeting Tuesday.

A public hearing is scheduled for a resolution that, if approved, would approve written applications for voluntary annexation of land to the City of Pella north and south of Highway 163 at Exit 44.

The annexation would be voluntary, and the agreement includes the Iowa Department of Transportation for the Highway 163 portion of the expansion, 163 Properties Corp. — the legal entity for Lely and their property south of 163, and Grace Fellowship Church, located north of the interchange.
