HIRTA Public Transit has announced that its servers will be replaced beginning one week from today, October 28th. The company expects interruptions to its phone lines  and email services as a result.

In preparation for the upgrade, the company will be suspending will-call services for October 28th and 29th. The company encourages users to schedule all rides needed for those dates ahead of time.

HIRTA Public Transit operates on weekdays in Marion, Warren and Jasper counties, and provides transportation locally and to and from the Des Moines and Ames areas.
