Lely North America broke ground on their new corporate headquarters at a ceremony Thursday afternoon. Led by President of Lely North America Chad Huyser, the robotic-milking corporation welcomed Lt. Governor Adam Gregg, Mayor Don DeWaard, Mark Core with Vermeer, and others involved with the project for speeches about what will be known as “Lely Park.” The development is located just south of the Highway 163 Exit 44 interchange, which Huyser says will be a place that reflects the growth of Lely in the United States and Canada, as well as an area for the community to enjoy. Lely has had its North America headquarters located on the northeast corner of the Vermeer campus since 2011, and has had a presence in Pella since 2004. The $16 million project is expected to be finished by early 2022. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS next week for additional details on Let’s Talk Pella.
