The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held a modified ribbon cutting ceremony last week, encouraging chamber ambassadors to support the ceremony virtually rather than in-person. Chamber President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News with all the challenges the community is going through right now during the pandemic it’s good to focus on the positives.

“We are limiting our gatherings with our ambassadors to around 3-5 people to keep it safe, but still do what we can to celebrate local businesses. What is important right now is to find the things we can celebrate, and share it with others the best that we can.”

Easter also said the chamber has hosted four ribbon cuttings this summer, which is fantastic news for the community to be able to hold events like these despite the pandemic.
