The No. 14 Pella volleyball team could not pull off the upset against No. 1 Xavier in the Class 4A regional semifinals Thursday. The Lady Dutch were swept in three sets (13-25, 22-25, 23-25). After a slow start in the first set, Pella fought back-and-forth with the Saints, but could not find the key points they needed late to build momentum to knock off the top ranked team in 4A. Pella ends the season at 23-12 and says farewell to four seniors.
