The PCM football team is preparing for its round of 16 matchup this Friday against Greene County, which will undoubtedly be the most talented team on the schedule so far. As the competition heats up, the Mustangs remain focused on improving their game. After the injury of junior tailback Aiden Anderson, several others have stepped up to fill that void. In last week’s 61-0 thrashing of Saydel, senior Sage Burns ran for 99 yards and three touchdowns, while Jacob Van Winkle carried it 69 yards with one score. Head Coach Greg Bonnett says that those two continue to improve as they carry the majority of the load.
The Mustangs take on Greene County this Friday at 7:00 p.m. in Monroe. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 on KRLS3.
