While the PCM girls cross country team had two state qualifiers, the boys team spent the season in a bit of a rebuilding phase. Early in the season, the Mustangs didn’t have enough runners to register a team score at meets. As the season progressed, there were some bright spots, particularly when senior Beau Webb placed in the top 10 in PCM’s home meet. Head Coach Eric Karr says that while Webb had a less than ideal season, the team competed at the highest level they could.

PCM has some promising talent on the rise, with growth made by sophomore Caden Bouwkamp and junior Kyle Sanders. PCM’s season ended with a 10th place finish at the state qualifier in Williamsburg.
