The #1-ranked PCM football team is one game shy of reaching the UNI-Dome, and standing in their way is #8 West Marshall. The teams square off tonight in the quarterfinal round of the Class 2A playoffs in what promises to be a big-time showdown between two explosive teams. PCM Head Coach Greg Bonnett says that tonight’s opponent plays with a similar formula as the Mustangs, and that physicality will be the biggest factor in the outcome of the game.

Of PCM’s three losses last season, this will be the first opportunity for revenge, as West Marshall defeated the Mustangs 14-7 last September at Schipper Stadium in Pella. PCM enters 9-0 overall while West Marshall is 8-1. Tonight’s game will air live on 92.1 KRLS with Jon Mohwinkle and Jeff Lindsay calling the action. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30, with the opening kickoff from State Center at 7:00.
