The PCM football team is still more than 24 hours away from its semifinal game in the UNI-Dome against Waukon, but the excitement continues to build. The Mustangs are making their second dome appearance in three seasons, meaning that there’s a few players on this team that played there two years ago. Senior linebacker Colby Tool is one of them; he says that it’s a thrilling experience, and likes his team’s matchup this week.

Tool recorded his first career interception, which was a 31-yard pick-six, in last week’s quarterfinal game at West Marshall. PCM and Waukon square off in the second Class 2A semifinal Saturday at 7:30 p.m. inside the UNI-Dome. Pregame coverage begins at 7:00 on 95.3 KNIA and KRLS3.
