Since Sunday, November 15th, 260 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Marion County, according to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database, for a total of 1,860. An 18th death due to the virus was reported Friday. On Monday, Marion County Public Health considered 1,415 recovered. There are 19 Marion County residents hospitalized with the virus.

New information was released this week as it relates to long-term care outbreaks on the State of Iowa website. The Cottages in Pella have reported a total of 25 positive cases of COVID-19, and 10 in the past 14 days, with two total recoveries reported. Accura Healthcare of Knoxville has 40 total positive tests, and seven in the past 14 days. Only one of those individuals is considered recovered.
