Pella Historical Society has made changes to the annual Sinterklaas Day festivities. On Saturday, December 5th, a parade will no longer be held due to the latest public health proclamation issued by Governor Kim Reynolds. However, community members can come to the base of the Vermeer Windmill from 10 to 11 a.m. to get a treat bag with Sinterklaas goodies, handed out by new Tulip Queen Alyssa Geetings and the rest of the Royal Court. Masks and social distancing will be required to participate. Additional videos will be posted on Pella Historical Society’s social media channels as it relates to the annual Sinterklaas celebration.
