Over the past week, 300 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported to the state of Iowa database in Marion County. There are 1,900 total positive tests since the outbreak began, with 1,415 considered recovered as of last week by Marion County Public Health. There are 19 hospitalizations of Marion County residents, and over the past seven days, two additional residents died due to the virus, which has brought the total to 18–all of which have come since September 1st.
