Those needing help with food during the holiday season can receive assistance from the Pella Community Food Shelf. Executive Director Melissa Zula says numerous churches and organizations each contributed hundreds of one single item for Thanksgiving boxes of dinner for dozens of families in need.

Zula says they will be distributing boxes on Tuesday evening at The Well in Pella from 6:30pm-7:30pm, and anyone wanting a box should preregister to check on availability. Those who might need help with any need for food or supplies should contact the Pella Community Food Shelf or visit during their regular hours on Tuesdays.
