A 26th fatality due to COVID-19 was reported in Marion County to the State of Iowa Coronavirus database. According to new criteria issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health, that individual’s death was directly attributed to the virus.

There have been 65 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported this week. Marion County Public Health considered 2,079 total residents to have recovered in their most recent weekly update issued Monday. There are 11 residents hospitalized with the virus.
