Knoxville was supposed to have played Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Friday night, but both the boys and girls squads will have to wait until January to get back to game action after postponing the games against the Rockets along with Tuesday’s matchup with Pella due to COVID-19 concerns. Girls Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KRLS Sports he was hoping to get their game in just to have an advantage in the South Central Conference heading into the break.

Boys Coach Jeff Larson hopes to get through this time and get back to basketball activities soon and build off an already successful start to the season…

The girls are currently 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in the South Central Conference while the boys are 4-0 and also 3-0 in the SCC. Knoxville will get back to action in January against Centerville.
