The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Monday evening, the last regularly scheduled meeting of 2020. The council will consider appointments to the Des Moines Metropolitan Planning Organization, Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance, Indianola Fine Arts Commission, and Indianola Parks and Rec Commission, the adoption of the Master Trail Plan, and a petition for the title of 1009 E Salem Ave. The board will also discuss the Indianola downtown square right-of-way, a review of the zoning code for the Planning and Zoning Commission, and sewer rate billing by IMU, before entering closed session to discuss litigation.

After the regular meeting concludes, the board will hold a study session regarding Statewide Urban Design and Specifications, an update on the Pavement Indexing Project, and budget processes for FY2022. The meeting begins at 6pm, and will be broadcast live via YouTube.
