The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad will head into the break with a little bit of momentum after defeating Southeast Warren on Friday. The Sabers still have some work to do to get to where they want to be at the end of the season. Coach Blake McWilliams tells KRLS Sports one of the points of emphasis during the break will be better play on the defensive end.

McWilliams:
“We talked about that, I think we’ve been a little lazy on the defensive side of the floor. We need to be better at putting more pressure on the ball and getting some turnovers ourselves.”

The Sabers are currently 3-4 and will begin the second part of the season on January 5th at Lamoni.
