The Pella Community School District was able to complete the fall semester with in person education, despite challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic.

On the final day of class of 2020, which was Tuesday, December 22nd, there were four students out of class with a positive COVID-19 test, but there were just 16 other absences beyond those individuals district-wide. Just under two percent of the student population was participating in virtual learning due to quarantine for a close contact or potential exposure due to COVID-19.
