The Pella City Council is moving forward with infrastructure improvements supporting the new Lely North American Headquarters. City Administrator Mike Nardini says they approved a resolution endorsing the 250th Avenue roadway improvements project in connection with the Lely project and authorizes staff to submit a grant application through the Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy program. The Iowa Department of Transportation offers funding towards promoting economic development through the establishment, construction, and improvement of roads and streets.
