Simpson College is showcasing the artwork of Des Moines-based artist Emily Newman at the on-campus Farnham Galleries beginning on January 11th. Newman is an assistant professor at Drake University, and will feature artwork that is made using only found and recycled packaging, an approach that serves as an observed commentary on both climate change and domestic habits of consumption. The Farnham Galleries are located on the third floor of Mary Berry Hall, and is free and open to the public. For more information, click below.
