There have been 171 new cases of COVID-19 in Marion County since the previous Sunday, according to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database. A 51st death due to the virus was reported on Friday. In total, there are 2,887 total positives and 2,667 individuals considered recovered by Marion County Public Health. A long-term care outbreak continues at West Ridge Specialty Care. There are four Marion County residents hospitalized with COVID-19.
