Warren County has now had 4,139 cases of COVID-19 to affect the area since the beginning of the pandemic, a growth of 76 since the January 8th update. Since the beginning of December, Warren County has been affected by 1,320 cases of the virus, just under a third of the total cases since the beginning of the pandemic.

Despite the growth over the last month and a half, active cases have significantly dropped over the last month, reaching a high of nearly 1,300 in early December. The county now has 825 active cases of COVID-19, a growth of 20 since the January 8th update.

According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has two Long Term Care Outbreaks, and has 37 deaths from the virus, 35 of which had an underlying cause, and two with COVID-19 as a contributing factor.
