Due to COVID-19, the Knoxville High School Contest Speech program will be making adjustments to its season. Director Dan DeVore tells KNIA/KRLS News that his students will send Large Group District Speech Contest entries digitally on January 23rd, the originally scheduled date.

State Speech will be held on February 6th, with more information to come pending qualification for the event. The Iowa High School Speech Association has cancelled all-state festivals, but students performing at state may still qualify for those accolades.
