There have been 84 new cases of COVID-19 since Sunday in Marion County. Currently, there are 2,971 confirmed positive tests and 52 deaths due to the virus locally. Marion County Public Health considers 2,815 individuals to be recovered.

Eight Marion County residents are hospitalized with COVID-19. A long-term care outbreak continues at West Ridge Specialty Care, according to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database.
