The Knoxville Boys basketball Squad will head to Ankeny tonight for a match up with Grandview Christian. The Panthers and the Thunder have never played before, so this will be the first meet between the teams. Knoxville has not played since a loss to Pella Christian last Monday after the Panthers game against Clarke on Friday was postponed to February 16th due to weather. Senior player Mike Hudson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is trying to show the underclassmen that hard work in practice and games will translate to wins.

Hudson:
“Just trying to lead by example a lot and working hard in practice and showing it’s going to pay off in the end and showing them if they work hard we’ll get wins.”

The girls are off tonight so this is a boys only game. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 and can be heard live on 95.3 KNIA. Fans are reminded the game will take place at Faith Baptist Bible College.
