twin-cedars-4

Twin Cedars had their first home matchup since their return to play Tuesday and they once again had a split. The Sabers girls bested Seymour 42-40 and the boys fell 51-48 in a couple of nail biting games in Bussey.

Cheyanne Burns led the team in scoring with 13 points to go with four steals and four blocks. Brooke Roby added another 12 points and added eight rebounds. Twin Cedars held on despite losing three of their four top scorers in the fourth quarter due to fouling out and an injury. At 7-6 overall (5-2 in conference), the Sabers have their best record since 2012 at this point of the season.

The Sabers boys were on the wrong end of a one score contest as Devin Arkema had 18 points and Kade Dunkin added another 15.

Twin Cedars will be back in action Thursday at Tri-County for a double header starting at 6:00.
